Having recently relocated from the Bay Area to Los Angeles, THE HERMS add true grit and originality to the sun-fried, post-punk scene of Southern California. Born in the co-ops of Berkeley, nurtured in the streets of San Francisco (in between the dot booms), and finally finding residence on the East side of LA, The Herms bring a frenetic, schizophrenic charm to the lo-fi reemergence. As John Dwyer of Thee Oh Sees puts it: “No one sounds like THE HERMS. No one sounds like Matt Lutz.” Vlad Duran’s unique, melodic basslines and Mike Leyva’s angular drum stomp fill out the other points of the sonic triangle.BLEACH PARTY formed in May 2012 and has been knocking out their surfy, sweaty rock & roll ever since. Comprised of members of RABBLE RABBLE and RODEO, the four-piece was hailed for their "swinging, fuzzed-out garage" by the Chicago Reader and Chicagoist calls their single "Empty Heads" a "a fuzzy, melodic rocker filled to the brim with happy hooks." NYC four-piece SAVANTS bring their "death rattle & roll" into town for one night and one night only. Their jangly, psych-tinged debut single, "Shake Pendulum Shake," off their debut, self-titled LP (Narnack), is a sun-drenched blast from the past that'll tickle your pickle in all the right places. The psychedelic post-punk, surf sludge, cosmic love-fuck that is VIETRAHM provides you with the Rock and Roll for your grandparents to waltz to on acid. Need we say more?
